Before you unbox or interact with your B2 Mask, wash your hands with soap and water. Be sure to scrub all surfaces of your hands and in between your fingers for 20 seconds.
Okay, ready to go!
Align the 99 logo on the facepiece with the inside of the fabric overlay, removable nose clip at the top.
Insert the 4 angular tabs located on the facepiece through the openings in the overlay.
Place the lower strap (with the adjuster and loose ends) over your head with the upper strap on top.
Pull the upper strap up and onto your head.
Optimize the seal at your nose with the removable metal nose clip.
Gently adjust the length of both upper and lower straps using the strap adjuster on the lower strap. To tighten, hold the adjuster with one hand and pull the lose ends of the strap with the other, both in the same direction. To loosen, pull the adjuster away from the head.
Do not pull the straps to the sides in order to tighten. This may cause the adjuster to break.
Remove your filters and dispose of them before cleaning the rest of your mask. The facepiece, filter caps, and fabric overlay may be washed by hand using a mild soap or detergent. Alternatively, you can place them all in a laundry delicates bag and machine-wash on the delicates cycle with cold water, laying them flat to dry. In order to prolong the overlay life remove the metal nose clip before washing. Once everything is fully dry, replace the metal nose clip, insert new filters and reassemble your B2.
When not in use, the B2 Mask can be folded in half with the overlay straps used to secure it closed. Before storing folded, wipe down the B2 with a clean material and let it dry. Alternatively, the mask can be left on a clean surface or hung somewhere that is out of the way. Do not store in a sealed container because this prevents moisture evaporation.
